Seating

New seating has been provided as part of the landscape works to the West Promenade. The total amount of seating has actually increased from the previous provision.

The seating has been designed to be unique to Bexhill, and has incorporated all of the design elements that are important to residents and visitors alike.

The seats are wooden set onto reinforced concrete bases. The majority of seats provided include armrests, and backs, mixed with some backless seats to improve the view for those using the garden areas and to allow people to choose how they wish to sit. Some seats also feature adaptations for side tables so that people can enjoy lunch, a drink or possibly a picnic.

We have had some really positive feedback about how comfortable the benches are to sit and relax on, which is great and exactly what was aimed for.
