Promenade Surface

The stretch of promenade from The West Parade toilets to Channel View East will be resurfaced as part of the Next Wave project. The total length of promenade to be resurfaced is approximately 1.25km.

The first portion of resurfacing will take place towards the end of the works on the West Parade as this will reduce any damage being caused whilst the landscaping works are in progress.

Users of the prom may have noticed four patches of surfacing inside Heras fencing. These are trial patches to see the colouration changes and surface texture for the resin bonded gravel surfacing. The chosen surface material is No.3 (see image below).
