Play Equipment
Incorporated into the garden strips along the West Promenade are various items of play equipment designed to blend in to the landscape whilst offering a greater opportunity for kids of all ages to interact, play and be physically active. The equipment has been chosen to offer a variety of play options and allow users to be supervised easily in an area which offers no formal supervision. Planting and low walls will offer a boundary treatment and protection, whilst seating is arranged close to the equipment. A softfall surface will be provided as required.
The play equipment will encourage a number of activities; climbing, sliding, balancing and swinging. Examples of this equipment can be seen below. |
