The Contractors
The Next Wave Scheme is split into two distinct phases. Phase 1, the landscape works to west promenade begin in May 2010 and phase 2 later in the year will concentrate on the Colonnade, Metropole Lawn and the Rowing Club. The Contractors - West Promenade In March 2010, English Landscapes were awarded the contract to undertake hard and soft landscaping works on the area west of the Metropole Lawn. English Landscapes Limited focuses on hard and soft landscaping and external works packages, and specialises in undertaking and efficiently delivering larger more complex multi-disciplinary external works projects, where we are responsible for the whole of the work on the site. The company was established as English Woodlands in 1919 is currently based in Kent and has grown to employ 700 staff on various contracts across the UK. Both English Landscapes Ltd and English Landscapes Maintenance Ltd have a history of award winning projects and contracts. These works, known as Contract B, will be completed by Neilcott Construction Ltd Neilcott have experience on such buildings as Somerset House, Cornwall Terrace and the Heals Building in Tottenham Court Rd.
