The Masterplan

The key proposals of the new Masterplan are illustrated below.

1. Metropole Lawn - A new public park with wide open grass terraces.
2. Promenade - New shelters, gardens, play areas and benches.
3. Colonnade - A refurbished Grade II listed colonnade building converted to accommodate a new restaurant.
4. Rowing Club - A new rowing club building with viewing terrace and public steps.
5. De La Warr Pavilion - A new spiral staircase linking the terrace and public steps with new clearly defined pathways to the seafront.
6. Car Park - Car Park retained and refurbished with all parking spaces re-provided.
7. Marina and Marina Court Avenue - improvement works to crossing points and disabled access.
